What teaching supplies did you need your first year of teaching?

My sister is graduation college this year and I plan on getting her a huge amount of teaching supplies. She will be teaching at the elementary level but she is unsure of what grade level. I was just wondering what type of supplies you need the first year of teaching. If you would like to include grade level specific things that be great too.

The obvious things that is very handy and also.
