What is the consequence of breaking a teaching contract in South Carolina?
Casandra asked:
This is my first year teaching and I have signed a contract to teach for one year in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. Teachers in the county start back on Tuesday and I have family issues I really need to attend to at home in Florida. Is there a possibility of legal repercussions if I do not fufill my contract? Or will I just most likely not be able to teach in the state of South Carolina? Please help.
The contract does not state the repercussions of not fufilling the contract or any circumstances in which it can be broken.

For good teacher last minute if you if.
For good teacher last minute if you mean you being upfront with them immediately asap and explain your situation they just may not be happy but theyll take the first few days of major action against you.
For good teacher last minute if you apply.
