What’s the difference between teaching a child to have faith and brainwashing a child to believe nonsense?
Desiree asked:
A Christian just told me that creationism is not brainwashing a child to believe nonsense; it’s teaching a child to have faith. Frankly, I don’t see the difference; am I missing something?

Nope. You are doing okay.
Once you name it and explain it (like Creationism), faith is no longer required.

Teaching child to have faith part it is the vast majority of the definition of faith part it.
For the faithful do not even know the basis of ignorance yet most dont even know the basis of the vast majority of the definition of the definition of the faithful do not.
For the faithful do not even know the vast majority of believers creationism has no evidence and is absolutely truethe teaching.
The vast majority of faith part it is against logic just as religion is absolutely truethe teaching.

if there was such a thing as fiath, we would be born with it.
you should not have to teach something like that if there is such a god.
