I’m currently student teaching 12th grade social science (economics and sociology) and I’m scheduled to graduate in December. When should I start sending out my resume to districts? I know there’s a small chance of being hired full-time around Christmas so I won’t get my hopes up. Either way, I’d like to get my name out and even substitute for a couple months.

I’m geographically mobile, so that’s not really a problem. How far into student teaching is it appropriate to begin sending out applications? How long do I have to wait to get a letter of recommendation from my co-op teacher? Until the end?

I have my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and I would love to get into teaching. I have always had a passion for teaching others and would love to use my degree to get into that. Do I need credentials to get into teaching business or what options do I have without having to go through the credential process? It doesn’t need to be formal classes, just a way that I can help others.

I am not a school teacher, nor do I ever plan on it. I’m too young anyways I mean like, teaching people other things than school subjects.
